            Translate into Hindi. Use V-ते V-ते  (or V-ए V-ए ) wherever possible.
 1. I fell down while I was (in the midst of) running ( भाग- ).
 2. By the time it became evening ( शाम, f.) a crowd had gathered ( जमा हो- ).
 3. By the time a crowd ( भीड़, f.) gathered it had become evening.
 4. What are you looking at standing (around) there like that ( यूँ ) ?
 5. There almost was an accident ( दुर्घटना, f.).
 6. He laughed while listening to what I was saying ( मेरी बात ).
 7. She drowned  ( डूब जा- )  right before (our) eyes.
 8. Be patient!  ( सबर करो ! )  It takes time for water to boil ( उबल-).
